Late Fig

The end of the season. Figs grow sweeter, herbs dry in the sun, and the days become shorter. Everything seems to be getting ready to slow down.

But it’s not time for quiet just yet.

Fig, red wine and thyme. I first brought them together in a jam, with a little lemon. I loved the combination so much that I wanted to recreate it in soap.

Instead of water, I used red wine, adding fresh fig purée, a little lemon, and thyme and lemon essential oils.

Shea butter, coconut, sweet almond and castor oils create a dense, creamy lather.

The scent is vivid and dry, with a slightly sharp note of thyme. But breathe it in again, and that sharpness turns into depth. The scent becomes rich and full.

A small handmade batch made in our studio in Old Jaffa.
For hands and body.

Ingredients: red wine, shea butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, fresh fig, lemon, thyme and lemon essential oils.

Weight 95 +\- 10 g,

The weight of a piece at the time of cutting, as gradually natural soap becomes lighter, but at the same time harder and more economical to use.

Store in a dark, unheated place until use. The soap can be used as a natural fragrance in a dresser drawer or on a closet shelf. The fragrance and color may fade over time, but the cleansing and caring properties of the soap will only become brighter.

Our soap is packaged in paper that I color with plants myself.
Do not wrap it in plastic or cellophane, it is alive and needs to breathe.

When you use it, make sure it is in a dry soap dish - it will last longer that way.
