The bright, fresh aroma of bergamot meets the warm breath of wood.
This soap is made with juice of bergamot harvested in Israel, giving it a lively citrus character and a soft golden hue.
The recipe includes a generous amount of shea butter, which creates a soft creamy lather and helps the soap gently cleanse the skin without drying it.
The depth of the fragrance comes from guaiac wood essential oil. Its warm woody scent recalls sun-warmed timber and soft resinous notes.
A small handmade batch made in our studio in Old Jaffa.
The weight of the piece at the time of cutting, as gradually natural soap becomes lighter, but harder and more economical to use.
Store in a dark, non-heated place until use. Soap can be naturally scented in a dresser drawer or on a closet shelf. The fragrance and color may fade over time, but the soap's cleansing and caring properties only become brighter.
Our soap is packaged in paper that I color with plants myself. Do not wrap it in polyethylene or cellophane, it is alive and needs to breathe.
