Wormwood

Wormwood smells of sun, wind and a hint of bitterness.
Its aroma is herbal, sharp and slightly wild — impossible to mistake for anything else.

For centuries wormwood has been known as a cleansing plant. Its smoke was used to purify homes, and herbal infusions were used in skin care.

This soap is made with fresh juices of wormwood and parsley and with oils infused with these herbs. They give the soap its natural olive-green tone and deep herbal aroma.

The recipe includes shea butter, coconut oil and sweet almond oil. Together they create a soft creamy lather that gently cleanses the skin without drying it.

For the scent I added wormwood essential oil — a rare oil that gives this soap its distinctive herbal character.

A small handmade batch made in our studio in Old Jaffa.

The weight of the piece at the time of cutting, as gradually natural soap becomes lighter, but harder and more economical to use.

Store in a dark, non-heated place until use. Soap can be naturally scented in a dresser drawer or on a closet shelf. The fragrance and color may fade over time, but the soap's cleansing and caring properties only become brighter.

Our soap is packaged in paper that I color with plants myself.
Do not wrap it in polyethylene or cellophane, it is alive and needs to breathe
